If you are a pet lover or thinking of owning a pet, you should look at some of these most expensive pets worldwide. I won’t ask you to buy any of these because the price and maintenance would cost you a lot all along.

However, almost everyone likes to have a pet in their house, and if you think you can get at least one of these expensive pets, then I’m here with some good options for you.

Here’s the list of some of the most expensive pets around the world!

1. Green Monkey Horse $16 Million

Let’s start with this most expensive horse in the world. This is an American thoroughbred racehorse, and the reason for him being so expensive is his speed. He ran a mile in just 9.8 seconds in his first-ever race. He was first auctioned for $16 million in 2009. Would you like to have one of these expensive pets?

4. Sir Lancelot Encore, The First Cloned Dog $155,000

The interesting thing about this cloned dog is that when the original Labrador Sir Lancelot died in 2008 at 11 due to cancer, his owners paid a fortune to clone him because he was very close to them. They even have a shrine for their deceased pets. It was the first-ever cloned dog, and it cost them $155,000. He managed to be one of the expensive pets even after dying.

Who am I kidding? I mean, we all know lions are expensive pets! There is nothing new in it apart from the fact that these white cubs are pretty rare, and they can only be born if both parents have a recessive mutation in a gene that makes melanin. And that is why these cubs are quite expensive pets to own!

The Arabian horse is one of the oldest breeds globally, and you can easily recognize this horse with a distinctive head shape and long-tail carriage. That’s what makes it one of the most expensive pets in the world.

7. CC, The First Cloned Cat $50,000

Since we have talked about the first cloned dog, then how about the first cloned cat? Unfortunately, you can’t have this cat because she is no more. Copycat, aka CC, was born in 2002 to a surrogate mother, making it one of the most expensive pets.

You can’t buy CC, but you have an option of these Bengal Cats. A Londoner first purchased Cato in 1998 for a record. These cats are bred from domestic cats and Asian leopards. And this is what makes them exotic and most expensive pets.
